WELL is Hiring!

Civic and Political Engagement Manager (Full-Time)

Who is WELL?

Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL), established in 2012, is on a mission to educate and train local Latino elected officials about water issues in order to promote timely and equitable policies and actions that support a robust economy, healthy communities, and a resilient environment for all Californians. WELL hosts annual conferences, regional workshops, and fellowship programs to educate elected leaders about California’s most pressing water issues and has trained over 2,000 local elected officials.

Why are we hiring?

WELL is looking for a professional who is committed to making a difference in working-class communities to ensure safe and affordable water. The professional will work with Latino leaders to bring change to communities that have traditionally been underrepresented and under-resourced. WELL works with leaders to get other leaders to utilize their power to bring about change to improve their quality of life and that of others.

We are looking for someone interested in developing their leadership skills in working with others and training leaders to lead in times of challenge and uncertainty. As we face many attacks on working-class communities, WELL is seeking someone to recruit leaders who are willing to fight for their communities to ensure resources are available for all residents, not just for those who can afford them. This staff member will join a team that has a proven track record of making a significant difference in making California a state for all its residents, not just the few with resources.
