
Last week, over two days, the E2L cohort continued their leadership journey through virtual training designed to build essential skills for navigating today’s complex leadership challenges.
On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, Dr. Jeremy Hunter, Founding Director of the Executive Mind Leadership Institute, led a third transformative session on self-awareness. Participants explored how to strengthen emotional agility, improve decision-making, and cultivate inner resilience amid uncertainty.
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, Dr. Carol Geffner, President of the Geffner Group, and Shivaji Deshmukh, General Manager at the Inland Empire Utilities Agency, co-led a powerful session on Leadership as Coaching and Peer Coaching. Various exercises taught participants deep listening, curiosity, and essential coaching skills. The E2L program, founded by Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL) and the California African American Water Education Foundation (CAAWEF), continues to empower women and underrepresented leaders in the California water and energy sectors.
